Dr. Morgenstern was born in Kansas but grew up in several states including Oklahoma and New Mexico. After settling for most of her childhood in a small town in New Hampshire, she ran NCAA cross-country and graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with degrees in both Biochemistry and Nutrition.

She then went on to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and graduated #1 in her class. After falling in love with the Triangle area, she decided to pursue an orthodontic residency at the University of North Carolina, where she earned her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and a Master's of Science in Oral Biology.

Dr. Morgenstern is excited to be staying in Chapel Hill and to be able to see patients in her new office! Aside from orthodontics, Dr. Morgenstern enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, swimming and running. In her free time, you can find her throwing pottery, learning to play the ukulele, traveling, or trying a new restaurant.

Dr. Morgenstern uses the latest technology in her office and continues to learn about emerging advances in orthodontics with continuing education courses so she can provide the very best care to her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, North Carolina Dental Society, and North Carolina Association of Orthodontics.

Anne

Originally from the Midwest, Anne and her husband spend 7 years in Boston before settling in Chapel Hill with their 2 kids. When Anne isn't welcoming new patients into the Morgenstern Orthodontics family, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and being active. 

Laura

Laura grew up in the charming town of Bailey, NC and just recently moved to the Chapel Hill area. She quickly fell in love with orthodontics after following in her mother’s footsteps as a dental assistant in 2016. She is excited to join the Morgenstern Orthodontics team and get to know all of our wonderful patients. In her spare time, Laura loves to spend her days playing tennis, attempting to paint, and exploring all of the great parts of Chapel Hill.
