Meet Our Chapel Hill Orthodontist
Meet your Chapel Hill orthodontics team, led by Dr. Ashley Morgenstern. Our experienced and caring staff is committed to providing excellent, compassionate and personalized orthodontic treatment to you and your family.
Dr. Ashley Morgenstern, DDS, MS
Dr. Morgenstern was born in Kansas but grew up in several states including Oklahoma and New Mexico. After settling for most of her childhood in a small town in New Hampshire, she ran NCAA cross-country and graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with degrees in both Biochemistry and Nutrition.
She then went on to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and graduated #1 in her class. After falling in love with the Triangle area, she decided to pursue an orthodontic residency at the University of North Carolina, where she earned her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and a Master's of Science in Oral Biology.
Aside from orthodontics, Dr. Morgenstern enjoys spending time with her husband, Jonathan, and Australian Shepherd, Finn as well as hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She has a multitude of hobbies that she dabbles in including throwing pottery, playing the ukulele, woodworking, and film photography.
Dr. Morgenstern uses the latest technology in her office and continues to learn about emerging advances in orthodontics with continuing education courses so she can provide the very best care to her patients.
