Your First Visit
Your consultation is a very important appointment! It will allow you to meet Dr. Morgenstern, a specialist in orthodontics, and get answers to many questions you might have. We believe this appointment should be educational without high-pressure sales tactics. We offer these consultation appointments at no charge.
How to become a patient
We are always welcoming new patients! You do not need a referral. Some people will be referred by their dentist but you can also reach out to us directly to schedule an appointment. Contact us to get the process started.
Before your first visit
We’re going green and working to be paperless. Please complete your health history form before arriving to ensure a smooth visit. This will provide us with all relevant information and allow us to verify your insurance benefits so we can provide accurate pricing at your consultation. There are forms for children and adults
Our office will gather any current x-rays your dentist has on file and verify your insurance benefits before you arrive.
What to expect at your first visit
Your first visit to our office is completely free. During your consultation you will get to tour our beautiful office and meet the team. Our office is comfortable and inviting with a little library, beverage station, WiFi, and available charging stations.
One of our highly-trained treatment coordinators will take digital photographs of your teeth and smile so your facial soft tissue, smile, teeth and bite can be fully assessed. If you don’t have a recent panoramic x-ray from your dentist, we will take one at our office. We will send this x-ray to your dentist afterwards so your records at their office are complete.
Dr. Morgenstern will complete a thorough exam and develop a personalized treatment plan. We will answer all your questions which may include:
Are children and teens ready for orthodontic treatment now or should treatment wait until more permanent teeth have come in or more growth has occurred?
Is there any dental work that we’d like to be done before you start treatment?
What orthodontic problems does Dr. Morgenstern see? What conditions need to be monitored closely as children continue to grow?
What treatment options are available? What are the pros and cons of each option for your unique case?
What is the estimated total treatment time?
How much does treatment cost? What payment options are available and will your insurance cover a portion of your treatment?
What will the process of your treatment involve and what are the next steps?
Orthodontic treatment requires routine visits to our office. We build meaningful connections with all of our patients and their families. We want you to be confident with your decision to pursue orthodontic treatment and understand that you’re in good hands with Dr. Morgenstern and our team.
Start your treatment the same day
There is no pressure to start treatment the day of your consultation. But if you have all your questions answered and are ready to get started the same day, we build in enough time to take full records so you don’t have to come back for an additional appointment before starting your braces or Invisalign. We understand you’re busy and many people appreciate this courtesy. We can’t wait to meet you!
